Educational Program Assistant Role

This position involves supporting the Head Start educational team in various classroom activities, including organizing field trips, assisting with lesson planning, and maintaining classroom environments. It provides an excellent opportunity to gain foundational knowledge of the Head Start program and to embark on a career path toward becoming a Head Start Teacher. Responsibilities may also extend to kitchen support, transportation, or other operational areas. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. This is an entry-level role that does not require prior education or experience unless mandated by local or state regulations, which may necessitate a high school diploma or G.E.D. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Additional qualifications may be required for kitchen support roles (e.g., Safe Serve certification).

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 36 Hours per Week, 42 Weeks per Year
