Job Summary:

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team at ResCare Community Living. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the new hire process, distributing exit interviews, and tracking responses. You will also maintain employment records, conduct background checks, and support open enrollment.

About Us:

ResCare Community Living has four decades of experience in the disability services field, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disability. Our community living services are provided in 27 states with several thousand programs and a comprehensive range of high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Coordinate the new hire process from start to finish.
    • Distribute exit interviews and track responses.
  • Employment Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records.
    • Conduct thorough background checks on all new hires.
    • Serve as a liaison for benefits and payroll-related inquiries.
  • Payroll and Benefits:
    • Process payroll actions, including inputs for work schedules and maintenance of records for state and federal reporting.
    • Provide exceptional customer service regarding benefits-related questions and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • One year of human resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
