Compensation: Starting salary ranges from $54,000 to $62,000 (based on experience) plus a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Health insurance coverage (LTWC currently covers 75% of employee premiums and 20% for dependents).

Commitment to Equity and Justice:

Since 2018, LTWC has made significant strides in understanding the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our community and work. We believe that the vitality of the watershed relies on the contributions of all individuals. LTWC acknowledges the disproportionate effects of systemic oppression on People of Color and Indigenous communities. We are committed to dismantling implicit and systemic inequities and fostering an inclusive environment that enhances our collective wisdom.

Research indicates that marginalized groups, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), queer and transgender individuals, and women, often hesitate to apply for positions unless they meet every qualification. In contrast, individuals from overrepresented groups may apply even without fulfilling all criteria. Our primary focus is to identify the right candidate for the role and our team, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply, valuing diverse experiences that may be transferable, even if they differ from the specified qualifications. We are dedicated to addressing structural biases that exclude marginalized individuals from the conservation, restoration, and natural resource sectors and ensuring our hiring practices reflect this commitment.

Application Process:

Applicants are invited to submit their materials via email. All applications will be reviewed in accordance with the timeline established.

For inquiries regarding the position or the hiring process, please reach out via email, ensuring to include "Manager of Restoration & Fire Projects" in the subject line.
