The Global Security Fusion Center's (GSFC) Data Analytics & Optimization team is dedicated to delivering information and data-driven solutions that assist leadership in making informed decisions aimed at minimizing risks and bolstering the security posture of the organization. The information generated includes a variety of formats such as presentations, analytical dashboards, summary reports, and data-driven insights, necessitating collaboration across various departments within GSFC and the broader enterprise.

Our team's output is instrumental in guiding management decisions related to security tool procurement, workforce allocation, operational performance assessments, and policy compliance.

Examples of our team's responsibilities include:
- Weekly Device Detection Reports
- Monthly Security Metrics Reporting
- Executive Committee & Board Metrics
- Security Advisory Group Meetings
- Daily Reporting and Briefings
- Data Visualization Reports

We seek candidates who are detail-oriented, adept at problem-solving, and possess strong critical thinking skills.Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in activities and processes that enhance the overall security framework of the organization.
  • Implement security protocols, review data, execute assigned tasks, analyze requirements, and generate documentation. Conduct investigations and manage data loss prevention efforts while coordinating various activities. Address and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities through thorough reviews and control definitions.
  • Provide guidance on basic security procedures and products to clients, security teams, and network operations. Participate in the enforcement of security controls to manage risks and threats.
  • Conduct security evaluations and maintain consistent information security practices under supervision.
