Job Summary

Colville Tribes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Services Professional to join our team. As a Senior Clinical Social Worker, you will provide professional social work services to students and families, including psychosocial assessments and diagnoses of behavioral disabilities. You will offer treatments and/or environmental manipulations at the school, home, and community-based settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provides professional social work services to students and families, including psychosocial assessments and diagnoses of behavioral disabilities.
  • Offers treatments and/or environmental manipulations at the school, home, and community-based settings.
  • Requires a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, or a related field, which includes two (2) years social work experience or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the Behavioral Sciences, or related field and five (5) years of social work experience working with elderly and/or disabled individuals.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and to be eligible for Tribal Insurance and maintain clearance throughout employment.
  • Requires excellent writing skills and be highly familiar with case management record keeping and documentations.
  • Requires ability to practice counselor interview techniques and skills.
  • Requires ability to safe guarding of confidential information and ramifications for breaching confidence.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years social work experience or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the Behavioral Sciences, or related field and five (5) years of social work experience working with elderly and/or disabled individuals.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Eligible for Tribal Insurance and maintain clearance throughout employment.
  • Excellent writing skills.

Working Conditions

  • Requires sufficient ambulatory ability to walk to project locations, to stand for extended periods of time, and to bend and stoop for limited periods of time.
  • Requires sufficient arm-hand-eye coordination to operate a computer keyboard and pointing devices at a proficient level.
  • Requires sufficient visual acuity to read technical documents and instructions.
  • Requires ability to lift, push, and pull objects of medium weight (less than 50 lbs.) on an occasional basis.
  • Requires ability to grasp, reach, push, and pull and move light weight work materials and supplies.
  • Requires sufficient arm, hand, finger dexterity to use a personal computer keyboard, multimedia, and other office equipment.
  • Requires sufficient hearing and speaking skills to project voice and communicate with staff, students, parents and other practitioners in small group settings and in one-on-one conversations.
  • Requires visual acuity to read printed materials and computer screens, observe students perform assignments, and observe moving objects and events.
