ResponsibilitiesMaintains patient and non-patient care areas within the hospital, ensuring a safe and attractive environment. Participates in department quality/performance improvement activities and adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting areas using a 7-step process
- Practicing infection control guidelines and adhering to universal precautions
- Maintaining equipment, storage rooms, and environmental closets in an orderly fashion
- Identifying and reporting equipment needs, building interior, and function repairs
- Following Service First principles and maintaining hospital required competencies
- Completing assigned goals
Minimum requirements include:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written, oral, and verbal formats
- Legible writing and accurate record-keeping skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3 years of experience in healthcare housekeeping
