About the Role:

In this dynamic position at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our Medicare Advantage plan members. As a Member Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for members, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about plan benefits and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing timely and accurate information about plan benefits, services, and policies.
  • Resolve member complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
  • Implement retention strategies to maintain current membership and improve the quality of care and service.
  • Stay up-to-date on plan benefits, services, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate information is provided to members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and clinical staff, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college-level studies preferred.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations, as well as managed care benefit plans and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office and various software applications.
