Cash Waggner & Associates is seeking a skilled Professional Land Surveyor to become an integral part of our team, ensuring project success through meticulous fieldwork and comprehensive documentation utilizing cutting-edge technologies and advanced equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and fellow survey staff on civil and site development, transportation design, and construction initiatives.
- Engage in projects involving streets, highways, airports, railroads, sewers, and site development.
- Oversee and guide field crew operations.
- Examine boundary research and field surveys, including route and property surveys, as well as ALTA/NSPS surveys.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of principles, practices, and tools used in computer-aided drafting.
- Familiarity with civil engineering principles, construction specifications, plans, and regulations.
- Awareness of industry-specific safety practices and principles.
Effectively manage office operations, organize tasks, set priorities, and maintain positive interpersonal relationships and communication with both staff and clients.
Local travel may be required within a 300-mile radius. A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan preferred, or the ability to obtain licensure in those and other states within six months of employment. A minimum of three years of experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to travel to various project locations.
- Capability to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
- Proficient in operating motorized equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors under diverse field conditions.
Compensation, including salary and hourly wages, will be determined based on experience.
