About the Role

Tanaq Government Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned buildings and grounds, ensuring they are always clean and orderly.

This is a part-time position that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a keen eye for detail. If you have experience in facility maintenance and are passionate about delivering exceptional results, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining building fixtures and equipment
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and facilities
  • Preparing rooms for special events and needs
  • Assuring security of buildings and grounds during assigned times
  • Performing miscellaneous maintenance work as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in an office or similar environment
  • Good understanding of cleaning requirements and standards required by the U.S. Government
  • Awareness of proper use of equipment, storage of cleaning materials, and handling of cleaning compounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from customers and others

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated hourly pay for this position is $23.05/hour USD. This is a union position with benefits, vacation, holiday, and sick leave offered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
