Office Assistant

This is a general clerical position that involves a variety of tasks, including word processing, reception, and accounting. The incumbent will provide clerical service to individuals, clinicians, and support services to the professional operations of the Agency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic word processing duties, including producing documents from case records, correspondence, schedules, reports, and charts.
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the agency's Electronic Health Records.
- Compile and maintain case records for the Specialized Services for Youth department, maintaining appropriate chart protocols.
- Provide customer service to ensure a welcoming environment for persons being served, directing them appropriately, and meeting their needs with satisfaction.
- Compile and monitor statistical information and conduct other daily routines as required.
- Operate office machines, fax machines, and perform other similar work as assigned.
- Operate the telephone system, taking and distributing messages to key personnel.
- Welcome and direct any persons coming to the agency, providing information and conveying messages as appropriate, and informing staff of the arrival of clients or visitors.
- Develop a basic knowledge about the Agency, the services offered, and the responsibilities of key personnel.
- Responsible for incorporating principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in work processes and job functions, promoting a feeling of welcoming, belonging, and acceptance to all clients and staff.
- High School graduate or equivalent, including training in word processing, typing, communications, and general office procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Computer skills preferred, including data entry and use of electronic records.
- Strong customer service skills and experience.
