Senior Health Information Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health Information Manager to join our team at K.A. Recruiting, Inc. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong background in health information management, coding, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure optimal compliance with clinical documentation, including indexing, record analysis, and timely chart completion workflow.
  • Oversee the release of health information in a timely manner, compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate hospital and clinic coding and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) functions.
  • Optimize documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of coding.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical and operational leadership.
Requirements:
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential required.
  • Coding certification through American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and/or American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) required.
  • Three (3) years experience working in Health Information Management required.
  • Three (3) years progressive coding experience required.
  • Three (3) years healthcare leadership experience required.
