About the Role

Solotech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Lighting Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment for rental and ensuring it is properly stored and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment for rental, including scanning and packaging
  • Work with fellow technicians to prepare large orders
  • Customize equipment according to client specifications
  • Program equipment to meet client needs
  • Prepare racks and systems for interconnection
  • Install software and updates
  • Ensure all required accessories are included
  • Clean and inspect equipment
  • Perform operation tests
  • Report breakage and missing components
  • Perform inventories and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Technical Theater Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of experience in an audiovisual equipment workshop or live events industry
  • Strong knowledge of Live Events and/or rental industry
  • Knowledge of R2 inventory software and Office 365
  • Ability to solve complicated problems and work independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability
Working Conditions

This role will be based in a warehouse setting, with a typical workweek of 40 hours. The environment may be fast-paced, dark, cold, and hot.
