At Innovative Turnaround Controls, we are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of our pipeline facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate plan and profile drawings to assess potential encroachments on our pipeline facilities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including private and public entities, to evaluate the scope of encroachments and potential impacts on our facilities.
- Ensure proposed developments and constructions are designed and constructed in accordance with our encroachment evaluation specifications and regulatory agency requirements.
- Perform pipeline stress analysis and provide recommendations for pipeline protection and mitigation where necessary.
- Provide written recommendations and design modification guidance to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and attend meetings with internal departments and stakeholders as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical).
- 1-3 years of experience in utility coordination, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively comprehend and mark-up construction drawings.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate dredging activities and their impact on our pipeline facilities.
- Familiarity with GIS, Google Maps, and Blue Beam software.
- PE licensure in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
