About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Operations Specialist to join our team at Williams Companies Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of our pipeline system.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Monitoring: Continuously evaluate system pressures and flows of gas and liquids from receipt points along the pipeline system to delivery points.
  • Flow Rate Management: Set flow rates and pressure set points at pipeline interconnections and delivery points.
  • Computer System Oversight: Monitor and maintain computer systems and alarms.
  • Remote Operations: Start and stop engines and pumps remotely to maintain system volume and pressure.
  • Emergency Response: Carry out decisions regarding product rerouting and notification during emergency situations.
  • Customer Service: Receive, screen, and route calls from customers and others.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of one (1) year experience in relevant industry or control room environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree or two-year technical degree and a minimum of two (2) years' experience in pipeline operations, gas scheduling, relevant industry or control room environment; Department of Transportation Operation Qualification.
Work Environment

As a Pipeline Operations Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team that values safety and reliability. You will be required to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises, and in enclosed spaces. You will also be required to carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed.
