As a key member of our team, the Manufacturing Production Specialist plays a vital role in the daily operations of a non-woven production line. This position is centered in a dynamic environment where ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and achieving key performance metrics are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with team members, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including ZES and confined space entry, and promptly report any unsafe conditions to the Team Lead.
  • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Work under the supervision of the Team Lead to complete assigned tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Conduct equipment inspections to identify needs for replacement, repairs, and recommend enhancements.
  • Manage the changeover process by preparing production equipment and materials prior to job execution, ensuring adherence to product specifications.
  • Set all process parameters according to established recipes or acceptable ranges to guarantee product quality.
  • Deliver samples to the laboratory as per the defined inspection plan and report any quality concerns regarding raw materials or finished products to the Team Lead and Quality department.
  • Complete all required Process and Quality documentation, reporting any changes in process parameters or equipment issues to the Team Lead and Process engineers.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure that operator maintenance tasks are completed and documented.
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including removing blockages and replacing belts, and participate in card repairs such as rewiring and setups.
  • Utilize analytical troubleshooting methods to resolve process and equipment challenges.
  • Operate a forklift to transport materials within the manufacturing area, adhering to FIFO practices for raw materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, conducting housekeeping audits and addressing any findings.
  • Contribute to waste management initiatives.
  • Utilize the JHI operating system for various production processes, ensuring full traceability through scanning of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Participate in all scheduled training sessions for operators.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including 12-hour rotating shifts.
