  • Product Lifecycle Management: Guide a team of data product leaders and cross-disciplinary specialists to produce high-caliber data offerings that fulfill the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders. Supervise the comprehensive product lifecycle, from concept and requirements gathering to launch and refinement, guaranteeing timely execution and compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Agile Methodologies: Promote and endorse agile practices to facilitate flexible, iterative development processes that generate incremental business value. Collaborate with scrum leaders on agile rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain a focus on continuous enhancement and swift feature delivery.

  • Data Monetization Strategies: Identify avenues to leverage our data assets through new offerings, features, or partnerships.   • Project Delivery Oversight: Ensure the punctual delivery of data products, effectively managing project timelines, scope, and resources. Implement best practices for project management to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and guarantee successful outcomes.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in product management within data, business intelligence, and data science domains.
  • Visionary Leadership: A strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to outline a long-term vision for data products while executing on immediate objectives. Experience in developing product roadmaps, business cases, and go-to-market strategies, focusing on driving business growth and competitive edge.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven history of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that create business impact and foster innovation. Strong ability to demonstrate the value proposition to business stakeholders and engage them in the development of data products.
  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in project management and delivery, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely. Experience in presenting to executive leadership and influencing decision-making across all organizational levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of data management principles, database technologies, and analytical tools.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to analyze complex data sets, derive actionable insights, and translate them into product requirements and strategic recommendations. Proficient in working with both structured and unstructured data, skilled at transforming data into compelling narratives and recommendations.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Proven capability to collaborate effectively across functions and departments, build strong relationships, and drive alignment towards shared objectives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Quality, or a related field.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in Master Data management and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP (S/4 HANA) is advantageous.

Salary: $140,000 annually
