About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our data governance initiatives and provide strategic guidance to our clients. As a Data Governance Lead, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, focusing on data quality, compliance, and metadata management.

You'll leverage your expertise with Microsoft Purview to ensure our clients' data governance practices are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a unique blend of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across client organizations
  • Utilize Microsoft Purview to manage and enhance data governance, including data cataloging, classification, lineage, and data lifecycle management
  • Develop and enforce data standards, policies, and practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business stakeholders to establish data governance roles, responsibilities, and data stewardship processes
  • Provide strategic recommendations to clients for improving data governance maturity and driving data-driven decision-making
  • Monitor and report on data governance metrics, compliance status, and data quality improvements
  • Conduct data governance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to policies and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that impact data governance
About You

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in data governance, data management, or data strategy. You'll have extensive experience with Microsoft Purview and a proven track record of implementing data governance and compliance frameworks using the platform.

You'll also have a deep understanding of data privacy regulations and industry standards for data governance.

As a collaborative and strategic leader, you'll be able to communicate complex technical concepts to clients and stakeholders, and drive business value through data-driven decision-making.
