Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage purchase orders for both raw materials and finished products.
  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with fabric suppliers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to verify order specifics and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all purchase orders, deliveries, and any discrepancies.
  • Address and resolve issues related to purchase orders promptly.
  • Assess fabric needs based on production timelines and forecasts.
  • Place orders with suppliers, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Oversee fabric delivery schedules and manage inventory effectively.
  • Monitor fabric and material usage to promote efficient consumption and reduce waste.
  • Analyze consumption data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Allocate garments to production lines based on priority and capacity considerations.
  • Resolve any challenges related to fabric assignments.
  • Track the progress of allocated garments throughout the production cycle.
  • Engage with manufacturing facilities in Central America.
  • Communicate production schedules, requirements, and modifications to manufacturing partners.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Conduct evaluations of manufacturing partner performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Textile Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in production coordination, supply chain management, or a similar role within the apparel sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of purchase order management, fabric procurement, and inventory oversight.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy standards.
  • Experience with Central American manufacturing facilities is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with textile and garment production processes.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 annually
