George Fox University, a Christ-centered institution, is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach in our Graduate School of Counseling. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the education and development of the next generation of mental health professionals.
Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction in various clinical mental health counseling topics, including clinical mental health counseling, marriage, couple, and family counseling, and school counseling.
- Develop and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student work and attendance.
- Grade and return student work in a timely manner.
- Counsel students as needed on their performance and progress in the course.
- Stay up-to-date on technology and methods of teaching with technology.
- Adhere to George Fox University's policy guides.
- M.A. plus 2 years post-graduate clinical/field experience; or Ph.D. in a relevant field required.
- Licensed/certified practitioners preferred.
- A commitment to working with a diverse population of students is essential; demonstrated experience in this area is preferred.
- All applicants must express a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a local church.
- Candidates must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S. and employees of George Fox University must be a resident of one of the following states: Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, New York, Ohio, or Texas.
