Our client, a leader in automation solutions, is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to leverage your expertise in electrical controls engineering. This role involves designing and constructing high-speed automation systems tailored for diverse manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ladder logic programming for various PLC brands, including Allen-Bradley RS Logix 500 & 5000, Omron, Automation Direct, Mitsubishi, and PanelView/PanelView+.
  • Act as the primary liaison throughout the project lifecycle, from initial meetings to design, configuration, and construction of automated systems.
  • Select and specify the necessary electrical components for system builds.
  • Generate comprehensive electrical documentation, including Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS).
  • Oversee runoffs and qualifications with clients, ensuring electrical engineering standards are met.
  • Utilize your skills to interpret AutoCAD electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, installation protocols, and P&ID.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Desire to learn about HMI, cGMP validation, programming protocols, pneumatic controls, autoclave functions, SCADA interface design, and electrical schematic design.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Compensation:

The anticipated annual salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
