The Assistant General Manager is a key member of the restaurant management team, responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This includes managing staff, maintaining financial controls, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee restaurant operations, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
- Maintain day-to-day financial controls, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Interview, hire, train, and orient new team members.
- Develop and implement coaching and counseling programs to improve staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Set the tone for a positive and welcoming restaurant environment.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Manager in a high-volume food service concept.
- Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and access to private transportation.

- High school diploma or equivalent and possession of all required documents.
- Able to walk and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a customer service focus.
