Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Configure and implement network enclaves for scientific instrumentation in laboratory environments
  • Develop and maintain user guides and training materials for clients
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement optimal solutions
  • Provide IT Asset Management support, including property accounting and lifecycle disposition of surplus equipment
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in end-user/technical support
  • 5+ years of experience in Tier 1/Tier 2 environment
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware/software problems
  • 3+ years of experience providing support of data structures, connectors, domain structure, Active Directory group policies, security groups
  • 3+ years of experience applying software patching using configuration support toolsets
  • 2+ years of experience developing user guides and training materials
  • 2+ years of experience in IT Asset Management
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and system administration tasks
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems integration
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
