Job Title: Senior Manager Total Rewards, North America

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Total Rewards to join our team in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering the company's Total Rewards strategy, with a strong focus on compensation, benefits, and recognition.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Total Rewards programs and policies that align with the company's overall strategy.
  • Manage annual recurrent Compensation and Benefit Projects, including salary review cycles, Short-Term Bonus payouts, Benefit Annual enrollment projects, LTI nomination and Grant process, LTI sell to cover project, and compliance communication.
  • Design, administer, deliver, and support employee benefits programs and related procedures to ensure successful adoption and compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Provide Total Rewards guidance, new hire proposals, promotional reviews, and overall consultation on Ipsen's Total Rewards programs to HRBP teams and TA.
  • Owns Total Reward communication to all internal and external customers.
  • Develops impactful benefits-related HR Analytics, including ongoing reporting of dashboards and ad-hoc reports. SME to Finance for cost assessments and forecasting of Total Rewards program costs.
  • Owns competitive analysis, responsible for external market data analysis including data submission to external survey providers on Total Rewards policies and practices as well as compensation, audit of survey data, final reporting, and communication of total reward competitive analysis.
  • Ensure alignment with global C&B team. Ensure programs and processes are documented and compliant with HR team strategies, policies, and governmental regulations. Ensure benefits-related documentation, supporting materials, and communications are thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, updated in a timely manner, and compliant with respective plan or governmental regulations.
  • Proactively collaborate with HR CoE Teams and Business Partners in program delivery and other projects as assigned. Maintain clear understanding of the integration with other HR and Finance workstreams (e.g., payroll, accounting, etc.) and the downstream impact of benefits-related decisions and process changes.
  • Evaluate existing programs and processes; make recommendations for enhancements or improvements in support of strategic initiatives or as triggered by changes to available environments, regulation, technology, or business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or other related discipline required, MBA preferred.
  • CCP/CBP or similar certification in Compensation and/or Benefits is desirable.
  • Requires a minimum of 6 years of progressive Compensation and Benefits experience and comprehensive understanding of Total Rewards practices, programs, and plans.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to compensation and benefits.
  • Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of key Total Rewards areas, concepts, and policies.
  • Vendor Management and Program implementation experience.

Key Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with HR and business clients managing sensitive situations.
  • Ability to effectively compose business correspondence, policies, and procedures, detailed and executive reports, presentations, and analyses.
  • Technical knowledge of Total Rewards principles, tools, and techniques; understanding of people management and human resource functions and systems.
  • Understanding and application of legal regulations and requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills along with demonstrated competence in one or more HR information systems, preferably ADP, Workday, and PayFactors.
  • Mastery of Excel and intermediate to advanced skills in other Microsoft Suite applications preferred as well as the ability to quickly learn new IS systems.
  • Ability to define problems, research and collect data, establish and evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to make administrative and procedural judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and administer complex administrative systems and processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and manage through ambiguity.
