Key Responsibilities:- Manage the shipping, receiving, and operation of machinery within the yard.
- Warmly welcome and assist customers visiting the yard.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Keep the yard clean and well-organized.
- Support shop and facility maintenance and cleanup efforts.
- Oversee grounds maintenance, including snow removal.
- Monitor and maintain fuel and fluid levels for shop and branch machinery.
- Park equipment in designated areas, adhering to appearance and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
- Execute all responsibilities with a focus on safety.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a shop, operating equipment, or related roles is required.
- Attention to detail, reliability, self-motivation, customer-oriented, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Capability to operate machinery and perform job functions safely.
This position is classified as safety-sensitive and will require a drug test prior to employment.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to lift bulky items.
The role involves various physical activities including standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck and trunk rotation, climbing stairs and ladders, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squatting, reaching overhead, crawling, and lifting.
Working conditions may vary between indoor and outdoor environments, with potential exposure to loud noise levels.
