Warranty Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Warranty Administrator to join our team at Sfbenz. As a Warranty Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warranty program.
Key Responsibilities- Book warranty repair orders and submit claims to manufacturers.
- Maintain accurate receivables schedules and service contract claim submissions.
- Collaborate with technicians, service writers, and supervisors to ensure efficient warranty processing.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt and shipment of replacement parts.
- Communicate with Service Advisors to define warranty claim scopes.
- Process warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verification.
- Arrange for parts shipment to factories or distributors.
- Reconcile warranty receivables and work with the accounting department to obtain payments.
- Keep track of all services and customer records as required by warrantors.
- Stay up-to-date on factory recalls, announcements, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with manufacturers' designated warranty representatives.
- Review warranty repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter labor operation codes, failure codes, and administrative data on orders.
- Ensure proper documentation of deductibles and collection from customers.
- Review returned and rejected warranty claims and prepare orders for resubmission.
- Maintain records of claims submitted, returned, rejected, and paid.
- Establish and maintain a record of physical inventory of parts to be returned, inspected, or scrapped.
- Provide weekly reports to the service manager on claims status.
- Report any situations or conditions that jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.
- Warranty experience preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with others and be part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- General accounting knowledge preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
