- Carry out tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services required and provide estimates for repair times.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- B-level qualifications, including proficiency in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities with the capability to use electronic diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Positive, approachable demeanor with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to stay informed about new technologies, repair methods, and service standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
