Job Title: Facilities Manager

Jobot is seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client's water treatment plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing various aspects of facilities management, including piping systems, water treatment, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the treatment plant, ensuring that it is in good working order and meets safety standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, and ensure that they are followed by all staff.
  • Manage the maintenance of and repairs of piping systems, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization and comply with industry standards.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Manage all aspects of manufacturing within the facility, including the management of staff, the monitoring of production, and the maintenance of equipment.
  • Develop and manage the facility's budget, ensuring that all expenses are within the allocated funds.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the facility's operations align with the goals of the organization.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential issues and implement solutions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility operations and safety.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on piping systems, water treatment, and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining large-scale facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of piping systems and water treatment processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing manufacturing processes within a facility.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility operations and safety.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for facility management.
