Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Specialist: Room Preventative to join our team at Twin Tier Hospitality. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC to ensure the hotel's facilities are in good working condition.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect and maintain all equipment and work areas to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
  • Document Maintenance Activities: Document all parts used and parts needed to be purchased to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities.
  • Report Safety Concerns: Report any unsafe conditions to the Director of Engineering to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma, plus two years or its equivalent in trade school or training in building maintenance/construction.
  • Experience: Minimum four years experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or building maintenance.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must have basic knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls, energy management, and building maintenance skills. May require ability to drive a pick-up truck and operate snow removal equipment.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel maintenance and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The work environment will be fast-paced, with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying required to perform inspections and repairs. The candidate must be able to work in a variety of temperatures, from 5 to 95 degrees, and be able to hear and respond to portable radios and alarms.
