Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality oral health care to our patients. You will work closely with our doctors and other team members to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine cleanings and exams to patients
  • Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Work with patients to educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
  • Collaborate with our doctors to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
