Key Responsibilities of an Early Childhood Education Specialist:

  • Lead the educational team in crafting classroom activities and plans that reflect children's interests
  • Engage with families to communicate essential developmental milestones
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and hygienic classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possession of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher educational qualification
  • A minimum of six months of experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool settings
  • Familiarity with developmentally appropriate educational practices
  • MA DEEC teacher certification is required
