Job Title: Project Electrician

This position is for a skilled project electrician to assist in completing necessary projects on time. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical systems and be able to pass a comprehensive test that includes bending conduit, placing conduit in a mechanical bender, and demonstrating knowledge of wire colors and the NEC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear box
  • Wiring 3-way switches
  • Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans
  • Installing and mounting electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components
Requirements:
  • Bending conduit
  • Placing conduit in a mechanical bender
  • Knowing wire colors
  • Knowing the NEC
  • Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe
  • Wiring 3-way switches
Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a manufacturing setting in Ruther Glen, Virginia. The work environment requires a hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, and safety glasses. Steel-toed boots are not provided.

Shift:

Monday – Thursday, 5:30am – 4pm; Friday, 5:30am – 1:30pm. The position offers opportunities for overtime.
