Job Title: Graduate Intern in Environmental Conservation

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Intern to join our team in Environmental Conservation. As a Graduate Intern, you will assist program staff with administrative tasks, property research, letter writing and review, and basic site management.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist program staff with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Conduct property research and provide recommendations for site management.
  • Write and review routine letters, reports, and other documents.
  • Assist with basic site management, including site visits and data collection.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Currently accepted, enrolled, and attending an accredited college taking post-graduate level coursework relevant to the duties assigned.
  • Maintaining a post-graduate academic load of at least six credit hours per semester (eight credit hours per quarter).
  • In good standing with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
Working Environment:

This position is being offered in one of our state offices in either Anchorage, Soldotna, Wasilla, Fairbanks, or Juneau. Daily office work will include writing and review of routine letters, contaminated sites file review and organization, database entry, and document review.
