Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our innovative Construction team at River City Paving. This position is full-time and requires travel in the regional area of Stevens Point, WI.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze malfunctions and repair heavy construction equipment
  • Repair and maintain asphalt and aggregate equipment
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid driver's license, CDL preferred
  • Experience in all phases of heavy construction equipment repair preferred
  • Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Ability to listen and take direction
  • Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees
