Electromechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various machines, equipment, and parts.
Duties and Responsibilities- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with production equipment and parts.
- Repair and maintain production equipment and parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Requisition parts and materials as needed.
- Assist with modifications, installations, and moves of equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to OSHA standards and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Provide timely information to supervisors and coworkers.
- Identify and implement improvements in work processes.
- Model positive behavior and adhere to company core values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in electronics or electro/mechanical maintenance, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Knowledge of machines, tools, and equipment, including programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance, make program changes, and monitor machine operation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime as needed.
- Experience operating lathe and milling machines.
This position requires regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery. You will be required to move with ease in the production area, remain in stationary positions for prolonged periods, and use hands and fingers constantly for handling and manipulating product.
