Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in carrying out prescribed treatment programs for patients with various conditions, including orthopedic, neurologic, and pelvic health issues.
  • Implement high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to Select Medical policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities, clients, and staff, enhancing and expanding client relations.
  • Collaborate with the physical therapy team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • A valid state license and/or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant, with a valid state license and/or certification in the state where you will practice.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Registration or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
