ROLE OVERVIEW Viant Technology is seeking a seasoned Stock Plan Administrator to oversee the management of our equity incentive programs, which encompass non-qualified stock options and restricted stock units. This position is responsible for the administration of the company's stock plans, providing essential information to participants, and managing the processing of grants, award terminations, equity vesting, exercises, and share pool tracking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively manage all aspects of equity compensation administration. Generate recurring and customized reports to support financial disclosures, including Earnings Per Share, equity award tables, and beneficial ownership tables for regulatory filings. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and HR departments to develop communications and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and securities laws. Maintain the integrity of participant and equity data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Process and oversee equity award activities, including grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations. Conduct regular audits, analyses, and reconciliations, managing large datasets and complex calculations. Partner with Finance to forecast and budget for equity compensation, providing necessary reporting for financial close processes. Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audit requests related to equity. Address tax-related inquiries from internal and external tax partners. Implement best practices and maintain effective SOX controls related to equity administration. Assess changes in federal and state regulations, ensuring processes remain compliant and efficient. Manage relationships with third-party stock transfer agents. Ensure data integrity by reconciling records across Stock Administration, HR, and Payroll. Deliver exceptional customer service to plan participants and respond promptly to inquiries. Oversee communications with Class B Unit holders. Manage educational materials related to equity for participants on the internal website. Participate in or lead additional projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 years of experience in stock administration within a public company. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform self-audits for data integrity. Experience in a fast-paced, evolving work environment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Strong relationship-building skills. Self-driven with a high level of accountability. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with stock plan administration platforms such as E*TRADE/Equity Edge Online. CEP certification is a plus.
