SUMMARY: Responsible for documenting repairs on customer-owned machinery and managing billing upon completion. Conducts inspections of equipment returned from rental, noting any damages and processing billing for repairs as necessary. Maintains telematics records for both rental and customer machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Collaborates with the service manager to generate estimates for requested repairs.
2. Manages work orders for machinery serviced both in-house and on-site.
3. Ensures the accuracy and thorough completion of repair documentation.
4. Inspects equipment returned from rental for damages, records findings, and generates repair invoices upon completion.
5. Maintains a log of damaged rentals, including documentation of damages and billing details.
6. Track Unit – Responsible for onboarding new machinery and entering machine data.
7. Track Unit – Updates and maintains records of maintenance performed on the fleet, and generates work orders for upcoming maintenance to ensure adherence to service intervals.
8. Down Equipment – Keeps an updated list of equipment that is out of service.
9. Acts as a substitute for the service manager when required and is undergoing training to assume the service manager role.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must possess comprehensive knowledge of heavy machinery repair and maintenance protocols. Strong organizational skills are essential for scheduling repairs effectively. Proficient computer skills are necessary, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Attention to detail is critical, and a strong commitment to safety is required.
