Quality Assurance Director Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Director will lead our organization's Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving quality, patient safety, and risk management programs. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of OPWDD, CMS, and DOH regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Quality Management Strategy, focusing on clinical care, performance measures, and individual satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative leadership for system-wide quality programs, emphasizing processes that improve outcomes in patient safety and clinical quality.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address process improvements and resolve identified quality concerns.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in healthcare quality improvement, risk management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing quality improvement programs, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Familiarity with OPWDD, CMS, and DOH regulations.


Estimated Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000 per annum.
