IT Network Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to join our team at arvato Bertelsmann. As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our global IT network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain our global IT network infrastructure
- Pilot and implement new technologies on premise and in the cloud
- Develop and maintain our network towards cloud readiness and Microsoft Cloud
- Support the expansion of new technologies in the group-wide IT architecture for secure networks
- Update and optimize international networks and network components for standardization
- Support the operation of our international network and advise internal departments on network connections and optimizations
- Monitor external service providers
- Manage and maintain all production network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Manage and maintain global infrastructure monitoring software tools for availability and historical views of health stats and uptime
Requirements:
- Studies in computer science or business informatics or training as an IT specialist for system integration
- Experience in networks, especially in Cisco architectures and hardware, firmware, and infrastructures
- CCNP certification desirable
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Willingness to travel and be on call for system availability
