Available Positions:

  • Chopper: Responsible for the spraying process of fiberglass laminate using a chopper gun or flow coat gun.
  • Assembler: Engaged in the assembly of fiberglass components.
  • Patch Painter: Focused on defect detection and repair using body filters, fiberglass, and gelcoat.
  • Roller: Tasked with removing air from fiberglass laminate using a roller tool.
  • Injector: Involved in injecting resin into a sealed mold containing glass reinforcement using an RTM injection gun.
  • Finisher: Responsible for sanding and buffing to restore parts to meet customer quality standards.
  • Geller: Sprays gelcoat on molds using a gel spray gun.
  • Painter: Sprays paint on fiberglass parts to ensure a cosmetically appealing surface.
  • Sander: Prepares gelcoat surfaces for primer paint application.
  • Parts Puller: Pulls fiberglass parts from molds using wedges and clamps.
  • Cutting & Grinding: Cuts parts to the correct size and grinds them to the appropriate thickness.

Laborer Requirements:

  • Completion of relevant training certification.
  • Consistent and proven attendance record.
  • Ability to assemble within quality and quantity standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Foster a positive working atmosphere with colleagues.
  • Proper maintenance of tools and fixtures.
  • Efficient use of materials with minimal waste.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • Exposure to noise levels exceeding 100 dB (ear protection required).
  • Vibration exposure.
  • Frequent exposure to low levels of styrene vapor.
  • Contact with resin, acetone, gun flush, catalyst, and dust.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme heat.
  • Proximity to heavy moving molds and hoists.
