Aeon is a nonprofit developer, owner and manager of quality, affordable homes in the Twin Cities. With over 35 years of experience, our team has built or renovated 9,300 apartments and townhomes, providing stability to thousands of people each year. Our mission is to create and preserve quality, affordable homes for those who need them most.

This position is responsible for performing front desk duties with some light security functions, reporting to the Site Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a close relationship with residents, vendors, and other stakeholders to foster a sense of community and home, while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of community rules and expectations, monitoring building's security cameras and alarms, and ensuring the harmony of residents and their guests.
  • Taking charge and directing others in emergencies as they arise.
  • Composing comprehensive reports outlining observations and activities during assigned shifts.
  • Performing administrative tasks, including assembling resident files, processing move-in and move-out paperwork, and assisting with recertification paperwork for existing residents.
  • Answering and routing incoming phone calls, maintaining a welcoming environment, and responding to general inquiries.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal communication skills, exceptional phone etiquette, and superior customer service. They must be able to engage in interpersonal communication that is culturally responsive, ensuring consideration for differing needs and expectations. Salary: $18/hour

Work Environment:

  • This is a 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm position. The ability to commit to this schedule is required.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of security experience or the equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 10lbs, reach above and below the shoulders, sit and stand for extended periods, and complete daily tours between properties.
