Behavioral Health Technician

Newport Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team as a Care Coordinator for our Adolescent Behavioral Health program. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Facilitate daily schedules, including activities, chores, and meal service.
- Communicate with treatment teams and provide updates on client concerns.
- Supervise self-administration of medications and maintain training in medication disbursement.
- Provide transportation to clients for community outings and meetings.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
- Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
- Competitive salary range: $20.00/hr - $25.80/hr based on education and experience.
