Director, Information Technology

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy enterprise-level hardware and software systems to support our operations and future growth.
  • Ensure the IT infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard our workplace and IT systems.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team on daily operations and projects, including SOC 2 compliance.
  • Evaluate technology risks and establish a disaster recovery plan and backup procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Work with the finance department to prepare and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring all expenditures are cost-effective and within budget.
  • Lead and manage ad-hoc IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the IT setup of new pharmacy locations, including the setup of servers, workstations, internet, wifi, IVR, telephone systems, printer and fax lines, and other essential technologies.
  • Partner with SVP, Provider & Community Partnerships, and VP, Pharmacy to address the IT needs of our customers and ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead a team across disciplines, including security and infrastructure, to ensure that the right people are working on the right things and focusing on the growth of both the company and the individuals you support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management, preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and experience ensuring compliance.
  • Proven track record in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level hardware and software systems.
  • Proficient with macOS, Windows, and Linux platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networks and databases, including configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Ability to lead IT projects and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
