- 5 days a week, 1pm - 8pm
- Flexibility required for weekends and family gatherings
- September to May in Miami
- Potential travel to New York during summer months
- $300 - $500 per day
- Annual salary range: $100,000 - $150,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Meal Planning & Preparation: Develop weekly menus that feature light lunches and enticing dinners with an emphasis on Asian, French, and Italian culinary traditions.
- Ingredient Sourcing: Procure fresh, high-quality ingredients from local markets and specialty suppliers.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve daily lunch and dinner, ensuring weekend meals are ready for reheating.
- Guest Entertaining: Prepare additional meals for family gatherings and guest entertainment, accommodating up to 6 individuals.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Uphold a clean and organized kitchen environment, including post-meal clean-up.
- Special Dietary Requirements: Prepare meals with low salt content and ensure each dish is beautifully presented.
- Demonstrated experience as a Culinary Specialist or in a comparable culinary position.
- Expertise in Asian, French, and Italian cuisines.
- Proficiency in preparing seafood, including fish, oysters, and shellfish.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Exceptional presentation and plating skills.
- Capability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Friendly personality with the ability to engage in conversation when appropriate.
- Willingness to travel and work additional hours as required.
- The Culinary Specialist will primarily cater to the principal and their assistant, with occasional visits from family members, including two children and two adults.
- This position offers time off following family visits and gatherings.
