Job Description

Famous Supply is seeking a Customer Service Operations Manager to lead our customer service team at our Chelsea, MI location. As a working manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a great customer experience and overseeing the daily operation of the location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily Operations: Ensure orders are efficiently received, filled, and shipped.
  • Inventory Management: Leverage our ERP system to manage inventory data, process orders, and generate reports.
  • Warehouse Operations: Use RF scanners to complete tasks such as order picking, parts put away, and inventory tracking.
  • Customer Support: Provide customer support by responding to inquiries, offering detailed product information, and promptly resolving any issues or concerns raised by customers.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the work of branch associates, ensuring they are properly trained.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Warehouse Experience: Experience in a warehouse environment, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for majority of an 8 hour day.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Distribution Experience: Experience in a distribution or wholesale environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing products.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with RF scanners and material handling equipment.
