Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is a leading social service organization dedicated to serving vulnerable populations, including children, youth, and families.

We are seeking a highly skilled Refugee Resettlement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in supporting newly arrived refugee and immigrant families who face challenges with integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish self-sufficiency plans with each individual/family and work towards stability through case management support.
  • Coordinate housing, medical appointments, employment search, county benefits, school enrollment, and other means of supporting individuals to achieve self-sufficiency.
  • Collaborate with community partners to provide comprehensive services and resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field.
  • 6-12 months of experience providing social services to refugees or immigrants preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work directly with children and adults.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
