Are you a seasoned finance professional looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Copeland. Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, our Accounts Receivable shared service team manages Accounts Receivable for businesses based in the US and Canada. As a Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection activity of a multi-million-dollar Accounts Receivable portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of direct reports
  • Set goals and manage performance
  • Direct work to ensure on-time payment of open A/R, minimize past due A/R, and maximize overall DSO performance
  • Interact with high-level management staff at assigned businesses
  • Lead regular meetings with staff and assigned businesses on performance-related objectives
  • Raise awareness to management and leadership of issues impacting overall A/R performance
  • Exercise significant independent judgment and discretion in making decisions that will have a significant impact on internal/external customers
  • Coach and aid direct reports in their professional development
  • Conduct periodic site visits to review performance with business leadership
  • Participate in and is responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements used by management and executive leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Four years related experience
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Action-oriented and results-driven
  • Periodic travel may be required at the discretion of Manager
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided

  • Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently and/or in teams effectively
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to multitask projects
