Job Title: Construction Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Administrator to join our team at Legence, a leading provider of advisory services and implementation focused on financing, designing, building, and servicing complex systems in mission-critical and high-performance facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project specifications, overseeing contract/construction documents, and providing administrative support to our engineering professionals. This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities for professional growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project specifications, including reviewing, formatting, and editing project specifications.
  • Oversee the development of project specifications involving multiple design team members.
  • Provide office-wide support for all specification needs, including coordinating specifications templates, formats, and schedules with clients.
  • Assure compliance with project contract language, including current code requirements and manufacturer information.
  • Coordinate project bid activities, including addenda, bid document distribution, scheduling, and project contracts.
  • Assist with construction administration document processing activities, including shop drawings, RFI's, change orders, pay apps, and closeout documents.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working with specifications in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction field.
  • Knowledgeable of CSI MasterFormat; CDT Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with MasterSpec, VisiSpec, SpecLink, or other spec editing platforms.
  • Proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems such as Newforma and Procore.
