Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of development trends using various data collection methods
- Draft maps and graphic information displaying relevant development information
- Evaluate the City's facilities, programs, and policies for compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Develop and maintain a database of statistical information essential to planning-related studies and policies
- Review proposed state legislation for possible fiscal and/or operational impacts on the City
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, urban/regional planning, or a related field
- Two years of increasingly responsible urban planning experience
- Possession of an appropriate, valid driver's license
- Registration as a professional Landscape Architect is desirable
Working Environment:
The work is performed primarily in a standard office setting with some travel from site to site and exposure to an outdoor field environment.
