Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cash reconciliations for designated bank accounts across multiple facilities, requiring strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze expense accounts and calculate various accruals for assigned facilities.
  • Generate monthly journal entries for balance sheet and expense accounts.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly variance analyses for balance sheet and income/expense accounts.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and workpapers.
  • Assist in the preparation of schedules for monthly financial statements and respond to ad hoc requests for special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience is preferred, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in PC applications and strong Excel skills are mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Lawson, Essbase, and Epic software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities is crucial.
  • A willingness to learn and a creative approach to problem-solving are valued.
  • Overtime may be necessary during peak periods.

Compensation:
Salary range: USD $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year. This range reflects a good faith estimate, and actual compensation will consider various factors, including qualifications and experience.
